The HORBEST ESD Footwear Tester is a high-precision instrument designed for reliable ESD testing of anti-static shoes, heel straps, and wrist straps. It ensures your personnel grounding equipment is fully compliant with ESD safety standards.

 

This esd testing can be powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery (included) or an external DC power adapter. The DC input jack is conveniently located on the upper-left corner of the instrument.

 

1.Power Options:

Use the built-in 9V battery or plug in the DC adapter to power the ESD tester.

2.How to Test:

Step onto the respective metal foot plates with your ESD shoes and connect your wrist strap to the terminal. Gently press the metal test button with your finger (avoid gloves or fingernails during operation). The ESD footwear tester will immediately indicate whether your equipment is within acceptable resistance limits.

 

1.Assemble the Bracket:

Mount the support bracket onto the chassis and secure it using three screws with a hex wrench.

2.Battery Installation:

Open the back cover of the ESD tester, insert the 9V square battery, and fasten the unit onto the support post on the back panel.

3.Attach the Tester:

Firmly press the tester into the support frame to ensure a secure connection.

4.Pedal Connection:

Plug the metal pedal connector into the left socket of the ESD footwear tester to complete the installation.
